The two-day workshop is sponsored jointly by the Hans-Bredow Institut for Media Studies at the University of Hamburg ( http://www.hans-bredow-institut.de/ ) and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, a component of the German federal government ( http://www.fes.de/intro_en.html ). The participants will discuss issues regarding banking and securities regulation, potential criminal activity, intellectual property and (natch) taxation.
