Gabriel Eckstein, the George W. McCleskey Professor of Water Law, will participate in a panel discussion addressing the contribution of the UN International Law Commission to transnational governance focusing on the Commission's recently drafted Articles on Transboundary Aquifers. Professor Eckstein served as an advisor to the Commission and UNESCO in the development of those draft articles. The panel is part of the American Branch of the International Law Association's annual meeting, which will take place in New York City October 22-25, 2009.
