Two Texas Tech moot court teams excelled at the Las Vegas Regional of the ABA's National Appellate Advocacy Competition in March, 2007. The team consisting of Gabe Brake, Graig Fancher, and Erin Welch sailed through the 32-team competition undefeated to be declared Regional Champions, advancing to compete in the national finals in Chicago. Mr. Fancher and Ms. Welch were both named Top 10 oralists. The team consisting of Noaman Azhar, Allison Clayton, and Christie Hobbs advanced to the semi-final round. The teams were coached by Don Hunt, assisted by C. Dean Richard ('96).
