Congratulations to our very own Professor Gerry Beyer, the Governor Preston Smith Professor of Law, on his selection as one of the best CLE presenters in the State of Texas during the past year.

His CLE presentation, "Estate Planning Case Law Update," which he delivered at TexasBarCLE's 2009 Advanced Estate Planning Course was selected as one of the best presentations of the year. The determination was made by the State Bar CLE Program Office based on evaluations and scores submitted by registrants of that course.

The Texas Bar is compiling these highly rated speeches and showcasing them in a series of "Best of 2009 " CLE video replays that will be shown in November and December in Houston, Dallas, and Austin.

I know you will want to join me in congratulating Professor Beyer for being one of the Best in Texas – something we actually already knew – and in thanking him for representing the Texas Tech University School of Law so very well.
